In the terms of safety and reliability, Buick Enclave sure is one of the best crossovers money can buy. This model offers flexibility like a minivan, and practicality of wagon merged together in trailer package. From 2015 Buick Enclave you can expect the same level of reliability and comfort for which this company is known for many years.
Only minor changes are noticeable in comparison to previous year model. There are some new palette of colors, chrome bits and waterfall grille design. LED daytime running lamps and accent lamps give the 2015 Buick Enclave a strong presence on the road. Cabin became even more beautiful and we are getting modern and comfortable segment which is well combined with design and looks of the entire vehicle. The dash is done in Art Deco theme, with the analog clock up on top. There is big touchscreen that was integrated into the cockpit last year. Designers have changed hard plastic parts, with new, more soft – touch materials. Three rows of passenger leather-appointed seating will provide maximum comfort. This car offers plenty of a storage space and when you fold 2 rear rows of seats, you’ll get 115 cubic feet of cargo space.
Buick offers only one option of the drivetrain GM’s 3.6-liter V-6 engine. It has very smooth acceleration even when heavy loaded. It’s a 288 hp power plant, front wheel drive paired with six speed automatic. Option of all wheel drive is also available, but really necessary only in heavy winter conditions. Towing capability is up 4500 pounds, which is enough for most family travels. Handling is better than majority of cars this type, even those luxury ones. Revised front and rear dampers will give you way more absorbent ride but also a decent handling close to sportier setup.
Review Of 2015 Buick Enclave
As for the safety features, there are different kinds of airbags that protects all 3 rows of seats. Stability control, ABS, and with addition of touchscreen, 2015 Buick Enclave now has standard rearview camera. Other features on the list are blind-spot monitors with cross-traffic alerts, and newly available forward-collision alert and lane-departure warning systems.
From technology features, every Enclave is equipped with navigation system and remote start system. There are 19 and 20 inch wheels in offer, head up display, heating and cooling of the front seats, DVD system for the rear seats, heated steering wheel as option for upgraded models. In connectivity segment there is “IntelliLink” with relatively simple interface, which integrates Bluetooth and audio controls. Other standard features are cruise control, air conditioning, satellite radio and much more.
One of the things we hope to see corrected in the future models is the engine lineup. At this point only one unit is available as we mentioned before and it would be great to see few more. For example 2.0 liter turbocharged inline four that pumps out between 250 and 260 hp would be great option and certainly could lower fuel consumption.
