You could see many of similar lists that offer insight to the supercar world and insanely high prices at which some of those cars are offered. Here we have top five of those that are currently available on the market. Have in mind that there are even more expensive vehicles but those are not currently offered or are pretty old iconic cars so we will not include them to the list.
Let’s start from fifth place…
5.) Ferrari F60 America
Ferrari F60 America priced at $2.5M is a way for Ferrari to celebrate 60 year anniversary since they have launched their models in North America. Only 10 of these vehicles were created and are based on F12 Berlinetta coming with lightweight fabric roof while under the “hood” we have insanely powerful engine. From the 6.2 liter V12 unit Ferrari managed to squeeze out about 740 hp which allows you to reach 60 mph from standstill in about 3.1 seconds.
4.) Mansory Vivere Bugatti Veyron
Base for the Mansory Vivere Bugatti Veyron is the Grand Sport Vitesse Roadster that pumps out 1200 hp and comes with removable roof, wicked, love it. It is far from standard Veyron and for this vehicle you will need to shell out about $3.4M but you are also getting more. LED lights have been upgraded, front grille has been redesigned, new spoiler package is offered, carbon fiber body comes also while already great looking and luxury interior is upgraded to offer even better features.
3.) W Motors Lykan Hypersport
At this moment the W Motors Lykan Hypersport is available for about $3.4M which makes it third vehicle on our list. Flat six engine is refined with two turbos and this luxury car maker is capable to get about 770 hp and 708 lb-ft of torque from 3.7 liter engine which is quite small when compared with other engines on this list. Acceleration to 60 mph is done in 2.8 seconds while top speed is just fantastic, 240 mph. Most attention to this, Lebanese supercar, was drawn with its role in Furious 7 when it was driven and crashed through three skyscrapers in Dubai, hot, very hot.
2.) Lamborghini Veneno
Lamborghini Aventador is one insane supercar but Italian supercar maker decided to offer something special for 50th birthday, the Lamborghini Veneno is a heavily modified Aventador. When translated from Italian Veneno means poison and it suits this supercar really well. Priced at $4.5M without a doubt it is reserved only for those with insanely deep pockets. The 6.5 liter V12 engine is capable of delivering 740 hp and 507 lb-ft of torque but it is special since it can spin up to 8,400 rpm producing magnificent sound. Acceleration from 0 to 60 is done in about 2.9 seconds making it one of the best cars in acceleration segment.
1.) Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita
Top of the line when it comes to price on this list has been taken by the Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita that is offered for insane $4.8M. When we take a look at the engine we need to say that it is a work of art since Koenigsegg has managed to produce 1004 hp and 797 lb-ft thankfully to dual supercharger system that is attached to V8 unit. For example, Veyron offers more power but this supercar is special because it comes with exterior finish that carbon fiber that has been impregnated with diamond dust resin. It makes it fantastic without a doubt but what do you think how much does it cost to repair even smallest scratches and imperfections?
There are few other vehicles that need to be mentioned in this post since they do offer insane performances, great luxury and more than high price. For the Sesto Elemento that Lamborghini produced you will need to pay about $2.2M but it is a track made car with most parts created of lightweight but very strong carbon fiber. Another Ferrari, but this time LaFerrari FXX K comes at the price of $2.7M, it offers slightly more power but significantly more aggressive aerodynamics to improve downforce and track performance.
Further down the line we have Aston Martin One-77 that comes with nice price tag of $1.4M, have in mind that only 77 units have been created and if you are a Bond fan you will love it. Top of the line performances that the Koenigsegg One-1 brings in its megacar with its 1,340 hp engine will cost you $2M. If you think that this is too much we need to add that only six of these beasts have been made.
This is our list of top five most expensive supercars and it might not be the perfect but at this point we consider these vehicles to be the top of the line supercars. Without a doubt there are at least few more supercars that we would add here. If you have something to add feel free to say in comments.
